Marion Public Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about helping people reach their greatest health potential. We are seeking to fill a full-time opening for a Public Health Nutritionist who will work within our WIC division to improve birth outcomes and early childhood health.
Prospective candidates will have completed an undergraduate program in dietetics (or related field). Registered Dietitian with Ohio Dietetic License preferred, and Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians Registered, Registered Nurses and new Dietetic graduates are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have experience with nutrition assessment and education in a WIC setting, experience supporting breastfeeding, knowledge and skills in motivational interviewing, and an interest in working with community partners to implement strategies that improve access to nutrition, physical activity, and health care.
