Downtown Marion has partnered with Marion Public Health, Marion Regional Planning, and MarionMade to bring A Better Block to you!
Activities will be going on all over Downtown Marion during this event! This will be going on during 3rd Thursdays and the Marion Ohio Market Farmers Market!
The Better Block is a movement to temporarily demonstrate community projects. This provides an opportunity for us to re-imagine what our streets and spaces could look like, in a relatively low-risk, low-cost manner. Temporary demonstration projects can highlight proposed revitalization projects that create a more walkable, bikeable, and liveable community. Short-term demonstration projects, like the Better Blocks help gain momentum, spur conversation and help to influence long term community change. Please join us on August 15th to re-imagine what our downtown spaces can look like!
